You are already using Google Chrome, that's awesome! Now all you have to do is install the Tree Explorer for Google Drive extension from the Chrome Web Store and select your watched folders. Don't worry, it's easy to do; the setup is quick and self-explanatory. However, if you're not sure on how to use this extension please head over and read our Getting Started guide.
Your personal data in Google Drive is yours and yours only. The extension is leveraging the Google Drive API provided by Google itself and requests the drive.metadata.readonly scope through the OAuth 2.0 authorisation protocol to ensure safety measures. The extension serves only one purpose; to fetch and present your folders and files in an intuitive way. There are no features that can modify or delete your files whatsoever. The data requested from Google Drive on your behalf is required only to render the popup window of the extension. In some cases the data might be stored on your local machine for caching purposes to enhance user experience but it's always just the metadata (eg. file name, size, creation date, etc.) and not the actual file contents. We never transfer, process or store your Drive contents on a remote server. To identify in-app purchases we may store your email name and credit card information on remote services. For more detailed information on how we process your data please read our Privacy Policy.
